Mission of the Collection

Why we do what we do when we do it:
Slowly but surely, the Millard Sheets Library has been developing a collection of materials aimed at introducing the Otis College community to a wide variety of disparate materials. The materials collection is a place for random encounters with unusual innovative materials. It is hoped that the unexpected juxtaposition of these items, along with a tactile and visual experience of each sample, will stimulate the imagination and create surprising connections and inventive insights. These materials are available for one week check-out for use in presentations, etc…

Thanks to generous manufacturers that have donated samples of their products, our collection has become more diverse and robust. --- Come by and check it out!
