This guide is based upon the Black Lives Matter libguide created by Angela Bilbe at Northwest Vista College. Thank you for sharing your words and work.
We also took inspiration from the Black Lives Matter Research Guide developed at the Penn State University Libraries.

We're happy to assist. We don't mind questions. . . Really.

This guide was created in June 2020 as a response to and resource for processing the nationwide protests that occurred in the wake of George Floyd’s murder by police officers in Minnesota in late May 2020.
The Millard Sheets Library is here to support the campus with scholarly resources that support our diverse community and their information needs. We have put together some resources to help students conduct further research and to support faculty efforts to engage and integrate these issues into their curriculums. Our aim is to provide select sources that will broaden the conversation, inspire critical thinking, and encourage a willingness to learn more.
This guide is a work in progress. It is only the first step towards being part of the solution. We welcome suggestions for any additional resources or topics you would like to see covered in this guide.
