Library Workshops

I have a workshop scheduled during the campus closure, what should I do?

The librarians are able to do remote synchronous or asynchronous instruction depending on the faculty’s needs. We are contacting all faculty who had workshops scheduled March 23-28 to reschedule. Please communicate any changes to scheduled instruction with your librarian in a timely manner so they can have time to prepare.

I need to schedule a workshop!

There is still time. Please fill out the workshop request form.

Which workshops are available?

These workshops can still be scheduled for April or May:

  • Finding and Evaluating Images - used in Birth of the Modern, available as a recording or synchronous session
  • Evaluating and Annotating Sources - used in Ways of Knowing, available as a tutorial guide or as a synchronous session
  • Guided Research - have your students make one-on-one appointments
  • Josef Albers: Interaction of Color - we are working on an asynchronous alternative, the Interaction of Color guide with sample plates

These workshops are not available. Please contact us to find alternatives:

  • Speed-Dating With Artists' Books
  • Otis Library Scavenger Hunt
  • Materials Collection
