- Prepare your talking points and/or slidedeck
- Keep it natural. It doesn't come across well if it looks like you are reading.
- Launch a meeting in Zoom
- Select "Share Screen" if you are also planning to include a slide deck
- Use Google Slides to present in the browser so the presentation won't take over your whole computer screen and block your zoom controls
- Can drag and drop a Keynote or PowerPoint into G-Drive and open it with Google Slides
- Select "Record to the Cloud"
- This option ensures you'll get a transcript (captions) of your recording and can share video with students via a share link
- Download the video file and transcript if you want to keep it for longer than 120 days
- Can store video and transcript on G-Drive
- You can pause and resume the recording if needed
- End meeting and wait for email notification when video is ready to share from Zoom
